From school cricket grounds to the IPL watched by billions worldwide — cricket is now fully at home on the probet88 platform.
Not many people know this, but cricket has deep roots in Malaysia. The sport took hold during the British colonial era, and the Malaysian Indian community in particular has long been its most passionate supporters, keeping cricket alive in this country. Today, the rise of IPL — the Indian Premier League — has given cricket's popularity here a massive boost. Every IPL season, millions of Malaysians follow the matches passionately, debate their favourite players, and now, place their bets through probet88.
Probet88 understands that Malaysian cricket fans have specific tastes. They know names like Rohit Sharma, Virat Kohli, Babar Azam and Pat Cummins. They know the difference between a five-day Test match and a T20 that wraps up in three hours. That's why probet88 built its cricket section to go beyond basic win-lose markets — offering in-depth markets that truly resonate with players who know the game inside out.
One thing that truly sets probet88 apart in cricket betting is our extensive coverage across all formats of the game. We don't just focus on the IPL or T20 World Cup. We also offer markets for Test series between the world's top teams, One Day Internationals (ODI), the Big Bash League in Australia, The Hundred in England, and several other domestic T20 leagues that are growing in popularity among global cricket fans. If there's a cricket match being played anywhere in the world, chances are you can bet on it at probet88.
"IPL season is the most exciting time for cricket bettors at probet88. There's a match every night, and an opportunity every night. The key is to do your research before you bet."

What sets probet88 apart is that our customer support team actually understands cricket. Each cricket format has its own betting dynamics. Understanding the differences helps you bet smarter.
The most popular cricket format for betting on probet88. Each team plays just 20 overs — meaning a match wraps up in around three hours. Fast-paced, packed with sixes and fours, and the result can swing in just a few deliveries. IPL, T20 World Cup, and Big Bash all use this format.
Most PopularEach team faces 50 overs in the ODI format. This format calls for a bit more patience, as matches run throughout the day — typically 7 to 8 hours. That said, ODI offers more markets than T20 because each match contains more sessions, all of which can be turned into betting markets at probet88.
In-Depth BettingThe most historic format in cricket — a match can last up to five full days. Test cricket demands deep knowledge of individual players, pitch conditions, and weather. probet88 offers dedicated Test markets including daily scores, wickets per session, and overall match winner, all at highly competitive odds for the patient, well-informed bettor.
For Experienced PlayersProbet88 ensures Malaysian players never miss a single major cricket match from around the world.
There's far more to bet on than just the match winner. probet88 offers markets that let you put your in-depth cricket knowledge to work.

Cricket is a sport rich in data and statistics. Players who know how to use them have a real edge at probet88.
Cricket pitches vary greatly in character — some favour the bowlers, others suit the batsmen. Pitches on the Asian subcontinent tend to be slower and spin-friendly, while those in Australia and England are quicker and better suited to pace bowlers. These conditions have a significant impact on match outcomes and should be factored into every bet you place at probet88.
The absence of a key player — particularly a top-order batsman or a fast bowler — can dramatically shift a team's odds. Always check the latest playing XI before placing your bets on probet88, as team lineups are only announced a few hours before the match.
In cricket, winning the toss and making the right call — whether to bowl or bat first — can provide a significant advantage. At certain grounds, the toss-winning team has a notably higher win rate, and this data is available in probet88's statistics section.
If the batting team gets off to a strong start — say, 80 without loss after 10 overs in a T20 — their odds of winning will shorten. This can sometimes be an opportunity to back the bowling side at better-than-true odds on probet88.
A batsman who's in top form — scoring runs consistently across several matches in a row — is a strong Top Batsman candidate. The same applies to a bowler who's on a hot streak. Check the latest player stats before betting on individual markets at probet88.
